The Texas Financial Group – Dallas has a long history in Dallas. Austin Rinne established the North Texas General Agency in 1958 and by the time he retired in 1984 the agency had become the number one general agency in the country. Angell and Associates led by, Al Angell, continued the high level of service until his retirement in August, 2004, earning the top spot in field directing (1976) and as a district agency (1984).

In 2004, when Tait Cruse was appointed Managing Partner, he formed The Texas Financial Group – Dallas, which assumed operations from the Angell Financial Group and merged with The Mahoney Group.

The Texas Financial Group – Dallas is one of the largest Network Offices in the country serving the Greater Dallas area.In addition to the Network Office in North Dallas, The Texas Financial Group – Dallas is served by district offices in Uptown, Las Colinas, Addison and Frisco.
