Facility Mechanic I
Alcon is looking to hire a Facility Mechanic I to join our Technician Manufacturing Team at Houston Texas in US. You will be responsible for maintaining the facility infrastructure and critical systems to support our production environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair machines and equipment
- Perform Preventive Maintenance (evaluate, modify, originate - PMs)
- Support Facilities Group activities (Shutdowns, capital projects, continuous improvements, PIT teams)
- Document work accurately per company and regulatory policies (within Maximo, on test scripts/protocols, etc.)
- Communicate clearly, effectively, professionally with other team members, production personnel, and outside contractors/suppliers.
- Comply with all safety, environmental and cGMP requirements.
- Ensure the quality and environmentally compliant operation of the plant critical utilities to include but not limited to the DI/Purified water system, the clean compressed air system, boilers, chillers, and the HVAC systems.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
- 2 Years of Relevant Experience
- Work hours: 2nd Shift (8 hours) Thursday-Monday, 1:00p.m. – 9:30p.m.
- Travel Requirements: 0 to 10%
