Responsibilities

We are currently looking for the right individual to join our Public Works Group in the role of Senior Engineer. This individual will possess a high energy level and be a self-motivated Manager / Client Server with the ability to grow the service line by providing high quality services.

In this role, the qualified candidate will:

    Assist with project management duties
  • Participate on a team of engineers and drafters working on infrastructure projects
  • Perform engineering calculations, designs, cost estimates, and specifications
  • Engage in planning and public meetings
  • Prepare and participate in client presentations
  • Assist in developing plans and reports; and
  • Mentor and direct entry-level engineers and drafters
Qualifications
  • B.S. in Civil Engineering
  • P.E. in Texas required or the ability to obtain TX registration in six months
  • 8+ years of experience in engineering design of roadways and highways (TxDOT & municipal a plus)
  • Excellent skill in use of current versions of MicroStation, Open Roads and GeoPak (knowledge of Project Wise and AutoCAD/Civil 3D a plus)
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skill
  • Sound technical design background
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Great client service capability is a must, as are technical specializations and proactivity
