Job Description
What The Role Is

This position reports to the Sr. Director of Origination and is responsible for customer origination strategy and execution within Clearway's green fuels segment (hydrogen, ammonia, methanol, renewable natural gas, etc.) This leader will work cross-functionally with other green fuel team-members to establish a green fuels business leveraging Clearway's incumbent scale and capabilities. The formation of this segment will benefit from the resources available from within a top renewable developer, owner, and operator. It will also draw on the capabilities of its financial sponsors - which include one of the largest infrastructure investors in the world (GIP) and a global diversified energy company (TotalEnergies), each of whom bring capabilities in fuel production, marketing, and distribution relevant to the segment

The ideal candidate has demonstrated success in closing transactions in green fuels, oil & gas, midstream services, fuel derivatives, or infrastructure. The candidate should be comfortable working in a complex, startup environment, able to work independently and cross functionally to solve problems and motivated by Clearway's vision of a world powered by clean energy which will be further achieved by standing up our green fuels segment. Candidates with startup, engineering and/or industrial process background outside of renewable energy are highly encouraged to apply.
