Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Quality Assurance Chemist with quality management software knowledge to join our team and ensure the quality of our products meets quality standards. The position is in our Sugar Land pilot plant that directly assists the scale up of innovation to full scale production. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products, as well as managing quality data in SAP. The candidate will also help in operating of a lab scale alkoxylation reactor and other lab scale up processes that are research tools.

What You Will Do:

  • Conduct chemical and physical analyses of raw materials, intermediates, and finished products to ensure compliance with regulatory standards
  • Manage quality data in SAP, including entering and maintaining data, generating reports, and tracking metrics
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve quality issues and scale up issues.
  • Develop and implement quality control processes and procedures
  • Assist process chemist in setting quality specifications
  • Assist in the operation of lab scale alkoxylation reactor and other lab scale process techniques used in scale u
  • Maintain laboratory instrumentation and ensure it is in good working condition
  • Write technical reports and documentation as needed
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest regulatory standards and best practices in quality control

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in chemistry or a related field
  • Familiarity with laboratory instrumentation and techniques
  • Experience with quality control processes and procedures
  • Knowledge of quality management software's
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of SAP
