Summary:
The principal accountability of the role is to maintain and enhance the Standard Delivery for Aveva E3D in accordance industry best practices and Global Engineering Network requirements.

Specifically, you will be responsible for the following:

  • Optimize project delivery through its lifecycle, provide support for the set-up, configuration and training on Major Projects, Services or Improvement projects.
  • Aveva E3D Administration including creating symbology, filters, reports, templates, system maintenance, etc.
  • Aveva E3D Global Administration including setting up satellite databases, global communications, extracts etc.
  • Development of automation enhancements and/or custom requirements.
  • Support projects to develop E3D Execution Plans and Specifications.
  • Provide training, support and assistance to E3D projects and locations as requested and via Service Now for users' day to day activities.
  • Develop and maintain the Global Engineering Systems Network Master SharePoint site content and structure which houses the Worley standard build.
  • Review all Worley issues logged with Aveva regarding E3D functionality to assess if common themes are being logged by multiple projects, engage to combine efforts to provide more effective resolution of open issues across Worley projects.
  • Specific challenges associated with the role include:
    • Balancing the focus of day to day, operational systems management with the requirement to foster future readiness and a climate for innovation
    • Driving the centralization of service delivery through driving a consolidated and automated delivery process
    • Moving the organization towards a culture of continuous improvement

  • Minimum seven (7) years of related experience in the EPC / EPCM industry.
  • Significant experience with 3D layout and design in a complex, major projects environment including multi-office workshare.
  • Advanced to expert competency as an E3D Administrator.
  • Proficiency in a common CAD drafting or graphics tool (e.g. Aveva Draw, AutoCAD and MicroStation).
  • Detailed knowledge of Aveva Licensing System (ALS) installation and setup and E3D table structure, Rules, Objects, Hierarchy, Workshare Modes, configuration and use.
  • Detailed knowledge of E3D configuration and setup of Symbology, Formats and Project configuration.
  • Strong knowledge of IT systems (Client Operating systems, Server configuration, Software installation and configurations)
  • Strong fundamental knowledge of engineering, procurement, construction and home office and site planning requirements.
  • Deep understanding of project requirements, deliverables and workflows
  • Experience working in virtual teams supporting a global community.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Competent training skills
