Job Description

The SharePoint Lead role provides support across the ISS, Gateway, Commercial LEO, Orion, and EHP Programs and multiple SharePoint environments, including on-premises and SharePoint Online.

Responsibilities include:

  • Leads the development and maintenance for SharePoint governance for HSFTIC-supported Programs.
  • Coordinates audits and site administrator training across programs, ensuring compliance with governance policies.
  • Primary Developer and Liaison for SharePoint projects, including migrations and upgrades.
  • Participates in ISS, Gateway, CLDP, and EHP tagups for cross program integration.
  • Coordinates with the Software Engineering team for SharePoint Application development
  • Attends and participates in Agency and Center meetings to advocate on behalf of the ISS, Gateway, CLDP, Orion, and EHP Programs
  • Facilitates NAMS workflow development for role-based access across applications and environment.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Experience as a SharePoint Developer in the analysis, design, hands-on development, and delivery of SharePoint Sites
  • Client-facing communication skills with the ability to present business cases, strategies, and solutions in a team environment.
  • Experience translating functional requirements to system requirements.
  • Working knowledge of SharePoint Designer, HTML/JavaScript/CSS
  • Strong understanding of SharePoint architecture and data migration approaches

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Leading a team of SharePoint Administrators to support project development and execution.
  • Experience using JIRA to track and monitor planned work.
  • Experience with SharePoint Online, Power Platform (PowerApps, Power Automate, Power BI), and Microsoft Project
  • Working knowledge of the software development life cycle

Education and Relevant Work Experience:

A BS/BA degree in an information technology field related field or equivalent experience in related field.
