Job Description
As a Field Sales Manager, you will be responsible for generating leads, interfacing with, and understanding the needs of prospective customers for Rochester Cable’s Oil & Gas division.

Essential Job Functions
  • Actively manage and support customer accounts as the key interface with a series of O&G accounts across markets including, but not limited to Wireline, MUX drilling and ROV.
  • Ensure program timing is met by fully understanding customer requirements, due dates etc. and managing internal actions to ensure timelines are met.
  • Document all program activity via HubSpot system.
  • Develop and implement successful strategies for the assigned accounts to ensure maximum revenue and profitability.
  • Develop and maintain relationships at multiple levels within the customer base to position Rochester Cable as a strategic partner of the customer.
  • Maintain a high level of awareness regarding industry trends and competitive activity, whilst looking for new opportunities for Rochester Cable directly and indirectly through the Hexatronic Harsh Environment Group
  • Identify opportunities for extensions of portfolio/products for Rochester Cable and the wider Hexatronic business to extend and or grow our market segment strategies.
  • Effectively communicate with all relevant team members to promote the business needs for long term sustainable growth and customer development.
  • Provide and maintain an accurate forecast for the assigned territory aimed at growing the business faster than the market.
  • Partner with our Inside Sales and Finance teams to meet account receivable goals.

Requirements
  • Please note: This position requires access to information which is subject to stringent controls under the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) or Export Administration Regulations (EAR), as such, applicants must be a U.S. person defined as a citizen, national, U.S. lawful permanent resident, person granted asylee status in the U.S., or person admitted into the U.S. as a refugee.
  • Minimum 5-7 years sales or directly related experience in the Oil & Gas Industry ideally within a segment utilizing working cables.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Proven skills in the development and implementation of strategies in support of customers and products consistent with an overall business plan.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate across functions and businesses; as well as ability to influence outcomes in line with the business objectives.
  • Strong results-orientation and execution characteristics
  • Ability to effectively organize, prioritize and accomplish multiple conflicting tasks, make intelligent, timely decisions, and solve problems independently.
  • Ability and willingness to travel as required.
