We are searching for an experience mechanic who can work independently, use good judgement when making decisions, and takes ownership to ensure the work is completed.

In this role you will:

  • Be responsible for the repair and maintenance of fork trucks and manipulators
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area
  • Perform tire repairs on company vehicles
  • Adhere to all company and OSHA safety procedures
  • Safely abide by daily procedures and protocols in accordance with job training
  • Convey issues to the attention of Managers, Supervisors, Group Leaders, Safety/Environmental Manager, or Director of Human Resource, as appropriate.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities and Other Characteristics

  • Ability to operate overhead cranes, man lifts, backhoes, pipe threaders and forklifts.
  • Train entry level maintenance team members with a focus on safety.
  • Work autonomously with little to no supervision
  • Prior experience repairing forklifts and/or heavy equipment
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
