JOB PURPOSE:

Responsible for the cleanliness and sanitation of the areas assigned and provides some work direction to custodial staff. The incumbent is accountable for the completion of assigned duties with a minimum level of supervision.The incumbent interacts positively with various customer/client point of contacts, EU staff and responds to requests personally and effectively. The incumbent must work to ensure exceptional EU custodial services are maintained at all customer facilities

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Demonstrate safe work habits and observe all applicable worker safety practices, including the use of required personal protective equipment.

  • Perform janitorial duties as necessary to meet customer/contract requirements.

  • Operate motorized equipment used for cleaning.

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Custodial Manager and Supervisors that pertain to the job duties.

  • Maintain a variety of records as required, such as inventory, checklists and cleaning inspections

  • Demonstrate Exceptional customer service, in Everything you do, by placing the child, family, Veteran or client firstto supportour mission to "Empower people to build better lives for themselves, their families, and their communities."

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.

EXPERIENCE: 4 months to a 1 year of experience as a custodian

ATTENDANCE: Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer's sole discretion.

LICENSES: Driver's License with clear record.

VEHICLE: Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.

OTHER: Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.
