Job Description
We are looking for a motivated person to work part time at the Texas Department of Transportation in Waller, TX with the goal of Keeping building in clean and orderly condition.
The hours are 10am-2pm, Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.

Essential Duties and/or Responsibilities:
- Service, clean, and supply restrooms.
- Gather and empty trash.
- Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.
- Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment, in order to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
- Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
- Communicate needs for cleaning supplies.
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.
- Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.
- Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.
Knowledge and Skills Required:
- Equipment Selection - Determining the kind of tools and equipment needed to do a job.
- Time Management.
