We have an immediate career opportunity for an experienced Civil/Water Resources Engineer to join our Roadway Design Team in either our Houston, Dallas, Fort Worth or San Antonio, TX Locations.

Key responsibilities will include design and review of all phases of rail/highway/site plan development for our various projects.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field.
  • Registered PE in Texas or the ability to sit for it in the next six months.
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in hydrologic and hydraulic analysis and design, or related surface water engineering.
  • Hydrologic/hydraulic modeling experience in both steady and unsteady modeling, 1D and 2D modeling.
  • Experience with the following is preferred: HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, HEC-1, HEC-2, InfoWorks, XPSWMM 1D & 2D, MIKE Flood, ArcGIS 9.3 or later, HEC-GeoRAS, HEC-GeoHMS, and ArcHydro.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to prepare and delivery client presentations.

Responsibilities

  • Plans, coordinates, and directs H&H engineering analysis and design on multiple projects with many complex features.
  • Interacts with project clients.
  • Responsible for developing and mentoring less experienced staff.
  • Performs hydrologic and hydraulic analyses, prepares hydrologic and hydraulic models, evaluates results, and summarizes results and recommendations to produce drainage impact studies, conveyance analysis, storage analysis, and other drainage improvements.
  • Coordinates production and/or provides QA/QC to ensure technical consistency and inclusion of appropriate documentation.
  • Provides technical input/review of project deliverables.
  • Prepares scope, budgets and proposals.
  • Responsible for financial tracking and invoicing

Compensation Range:

$78,005.00 - $104,007.00
