Job Description

The Sr. Financial Analysis Manager - Commercial Finance, Downstream North America in Houston, TX responsible for providing direct financial support to the Downstream Corporate Account and Street Sales teams.Lead of team of four (4) commercial finance analysts, providing direction, coaching and development. Engage with customers regarding NA Downstream contracts and programs.

What You Will Do:

  • Serve as primary finance business partner to the Corporate Account Sales team, helping to drive sales growth and safeguarding the profitability of the business.
  • Work on upfront deal making, ongoing account profit improvement projects and price strategy.
  • Work directly with Sales Vice President, Corporate Account and Sales Managers, and marketing to provide financial support in the areas of deal analysis and contract negotiation, pro forma financial statements, profit management, pricing strategy and execution, contract management and incentive analysis.
  • Support the overall Corporate Account Finance team with development and execution of best practices and drive process improvements.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting and analysis to internal and external customers.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field plus three (3) years of experience conducting corporate financial analysis and forecasting, and conducting contract analysis. Or, alternatively, Bachelor's degree (or foreign education equivalent) in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field plus five (5) years of experience conducting corporate financial analysis and forecasting and conducting contract analysis.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated Expertise ("DE") in partnering with organizational leadership to support quality decision making through business partnering, insightful analytics, effective communication, challenging assumptions and creative alternatives.
  • DE formulating business strategy for profitable sales growth in line with corporate strategic thrusts and driving the implementation of strategy through the organization.
  • DE developing robust financial models to perform comprehensive return analyses and pricing scenarios for the company's portfolio of offerings.
  • DE leading cross-functional teams to execute in-depth analyses with a focus on profitability, continuous improvement, working capital and operational risk.
  • DE leading and leveraging a team to deliver business results while providing the talent development and growth opportunities.
