Job Description

*Facilitate effective communication between child care parents and providers, conveying information and updates of the new child care management system in a clear and accessible manner including written and verbal communication.

* Provide technical assistance to families and providers to utilize the TX3C system including fully and effectively submitting applications with supporting documents and attendance registration.

* Plan and organize community events, workshops, and meetings to inform parents and providers on utilizing the TX3C system.

* Provide information and referrals to families seeking assistance or resources greater than child care, connecting them with appropriate services or programs both within and outside the organization

* Assists in developing informational material to improve interactions between Workforce Solutions and Child Care Scholarship (CCS) stakeholders.

* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Qualifications

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Demonstrated customer service and leadership skills. Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources. Use of personal vehicle may be required, if so, must have a current valid Driver's License with Good Driving Record and valid auto insurance.

Education/Certifications, Licenses, Registrations

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university and/or two years full-time experience in child development, child care licensing, or social service work.

Work Environment and Physical Demands:

Works primarily in hybrid work environment with specified hours with occasional pre-planned weekend and evening events ; interacts one on one and in groups with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds; availability for occasional out of office meetings, conferences, training and other events may be required; Tasks involve the ability to exert moderate physical effort in light to moderate work which may involve some lifting, carrying, pushing, and/or pulling of objects and materials of moderate weight (20-50 pounds).
