This position oversees the performance and productivity of a SCADA Systems Support team. The Supervisor is responsible for ensuring availability, integrity, and security of the US Gas Transmission SCADA system used by gas control and field operations.

What you will do:

People Leader:

  • Conduct regular assessment of demand intake, prioritization, and ensures a balanced team workload.

  • Develop plans to conduct regular assessments, updates, improvement, and additions to the SCADA Systems support knowledge base.

  • Ensure SCADA support team activities comply with internal standards and procedures.

  • Uphold and ensure continual improvement of Management of Change practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software.

Support:

  • Provide Tier 1, 2 and 3 support, performing troubleshooting and repair/replace activities and preventative activities.

  • Perform break-fix and troubleshooting of SCADA related applications and associated infrastructure including interfaces, RTU configurations, network communications, and hardware.

  • Responsible for commissioning, maintaining, and applying changes to displays, data points, devices, and interfaces.

Cybersecurity and Compliance:

  • Ensure systems comply with Enbridge specifications, policies, applicable industry standards, and vendor specific requirements for existing and new equipment as it pertains to cyber security.

  • Ensure that standards and best practices in the delivery and maintenance of systems are followed.

  • Responsible for timely execution of operating system and application security patches.

Knowledge Base:

  • Create and maintain up to date knowledge base documentation including asset information, architecture diagrams, processes, and procedures.

Management of Change:

  • Adhere to management of change practices pertaining to changes to the equipment and software.

  • Conducts due diligence assessments of change requests.

Project Support:

  • Participate in Capital projects for all SCADA system related projects and provides SCADA and OT systems subject matter expertise in designing, implementing project changes to the control system.

  • Support the completion of assigned capital projects through display builds and/or system configurations, and commissioning SCADA systems application changes following standard operating practices.

Who you are:

Required:

  • Undergraduate degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Automation/Instrumentation Technology, or related discipline.

  • A minimum of 7 years of directly related work experience in a gas pipeline environment.

  • Working knowledge of Control Systems applications Cygnet SCADA and AUTOSOL Communication Manager (ACM).

  • Working knowledge of RTU, PLC, network routing, switching, and end device communications.

  • Working knowledge of Control Systems IT infrastructure including network, workstations, and servers.

  • Proven ability with work management and management of changes processes. Working knowledge of ServiceNow is an asset.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Enterprise environment and the security architecture.

  • Previous project experience delivering Control Systems, HMI, and other ICS solutions.

  • Strong Microsoft Office skills using Word, Excel, Visio, and Outlook.

  • Experience with Backup and Disaster Recovery procedures.

  • Working knowledge of VMware tools and virtual environments.

  • Valid driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Strong network administration skills.

  • Familiarity with OPC, MODBUS, and BSAP telemetry protocols.

  • Proficiency in database administration.

Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.
