Job Summary

The Segment Resource Director I will report organizationally to the Global Resource Operations Leader/GM and operationally to the Global Service Line Leader/GM. This role will provide global resource leadership for all TFA's and Craft employees located across the FieldCore regions and Service Lines. Scope of leadership includes ownership of all key operating and resource metrics around optimization of these resources.

Essential Functions:

The Segment Resource Director will provide strong organizational, operational and process leadership, including the following focus areas:

  • Matrix leadership role across the regions, partnering with the Global Service Line Leader/GM and leveraging the process capability of the Resource Operations COE
  • Drive process standardization and process governance across the regions around allocation and prioritization of both TFA and Craft resources dedicated to the Service Line
  • Drive consistent tool adoption for core operating systems providing framework for optimized resource allocation - Service =Max and SuccessFactors
  • Prioritize resource allocation decisions between regions during peak fulfillment cycles, basing decisions on vital X's - demand, capacity, location, skillset, and cost
  • Own standard monthly operating rhythms with matrixed region resource teams and with Service Line leader, covering resource management performance / metrics
  • Partner with Resource Forecasting COE to develop standard key metrics, including TAF Cost / FIFO rate, Craft Cost / OCPH, Utilization %, Competency / Training metrics
  • Drive process standardization across global tooling footprint, including kitting processes, rate structure, key metrics and KPI's
  • Strategic partner to Global Service Line Leader/GM around FieldCore Blueprint process, including resource gaps and opportunities
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in Operations, Engineering, Management, or related field (Or a High School Diploma / GED with a minimum of 7 years of Field / Operations experience, in Power Generation installation or maintenance)
  • 11+ years of combined experience in project management, operations, field services, engineering, or other related fields
  • 6+ years managing and developing multi-discipline teams, preferably with international reach across multiple service types
  • Excellent management, customer service, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated analytical and quantitative skills; statistically literate and familiar with Six Sigma quality concepts and tools
  • Knowledge of power generation products, maintenance, services, and installations
  • Some travel required
  • English proficiency required

Compensation and Benefits:
The annual salary range for this position is $139,200 to $229,600. This is an exempt from overtime position. FieldCore benefits include insurance (medical, dental, vision, disability, and life), retirement savings, health and Wellness reimbursement, and a bonus or incentive program. Eligibility for FieldCore benefits is determined under the terms of the applicable benefits plan.
