We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon. As an a Assoicate Director, Clinical Projects supporting U.S. Clinical Research Development Team in Johns Creek, GA, a typical day will include:
Clinical Trial Design (Life Sciences & Education) work includes:
Designing and providing oversight of clinical research programs
Building relationships with key opinion leaders and applies their input to enhance study design and protocols.
Confirming clinical research program design meets scientific objectives and is aligned with commercial needs.
Serving as medical/scientific consultant to marketing or research project teams and government regulatory agencies
Establishing the criterion essential for determining the safety, efficacy, and medical utilities
Interpreting results of Phase I to Phase III investigations in preparation for new-drug or medical device application
May serve as safety expert for individual clinical projects.
May be responsible for post marketing studies.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO ALCON:
Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent years of directly related experience (or high school+15 yrs; Assoc.+11 yrs; M.S.+4 yrs; PhD+3 yrs)
The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English
7 Years of Relevant Experience Work hours:
Travel: Up to 25% Dom or Intl.

Preferred Experience:
Vision Science background
Optometry background
Contact lens and/or dry eye background
Some leadership experience
Experience with direct reports
