The ideal candidate will have an M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. in genetics, neurology, pediatrics, psychiatry, or other related fields; expertise in genetics, genomic sequencing, and/or newborn screening; scientific leadership and/or organizational management experience with large, multidisciplinary teams; involvement in national or international initiatives; and a strong track record of funding and publications. The candidate can maintain an academic appointment and continue clinical practice, if desired. Transfer of currently funded projects will be given full consideration.
RTI International headquarters is located in Research Triangle Park, NC, a short distance from UNC Chapel Hill and Duke University. RTI also has regional offices across the United States.
