FARO is looking for a Senior SAP Systems Analyst to work from our office in Lake Mary, Florida or Atlanta, Georgia. This will be considered a hybrid role, requiring a minimum of 2- 3 days in the office weekly.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Conduct comprehensive analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows. Identify areas for improvement and develop strategies to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness

  • Collaborate with stakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business requirements. Ensure that requirements are clear, concise, and aligned with the organization's strategic objectives

  • Develop detailed functional and technical specifications for system enhancements or new system implementations. Collaborate with technology teams to design and recommend solutions that meet business needs

  • Engage with business leaders, subject matter experts, and end-users to understand their needs, priorities, and pain points. Build strong relationships and maintain open communication channels to ensure alignment and successful project delivery

  • Lead and manage business analysis projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Define project scope, deliverables, and milestones. Coordinate cross-functional teams to achieve project goals

  • Collaborate with change management teams to assess the impact of system changes on business processes and end-users. Develop and execute change management plans to facilitate smooth adoption of new systems or process improvements

  • Conduct thorough testing of system changes and enhancements to ensure quality and accuracy. Create comprehensive documentation, including user manuals, training materials, and process documentation, to support end-users and future project teams

  • Proactively identify opportunities for process optimization and system improvements to drive ongoing innovation and operational excellence

QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Computer Science, Business Administration) or equivalent work experience

  • Demonstrated experience in business systems analysis or a related role, demonstrating a strong track record of successful project delivery

  • Profound knowledge of business processes, systems, and industry best practices

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization

  • Demonstrated leadership abilities, including the ability to influence and drive change

  • Proven experience in managing multiple projects simultaneously and delivering results within agreed-upon timelines

  • Familiarity with relevant software tools, project management methodologies, and system development life cycles

  • 5+ years of experience with SAP ECC
