Position Description

Successful candidate will work with business partners fromtheDefault & Serviving Operations Mortgageteams to support the Business strategy.
Analyzes complex data problems & structures to generate useful business insights.Develops reporting to monitor business critical results. Works with internal partners on analytical projects. Supports leadership team with data consultation, data gathering, and data analysis. Mentors other Data Analysts. Lead efforts to increase efficiency and streamline processes through building sustainable infrastructure, automation, and process improvement.

Responsibilities include but not limit to:

Manage& support analytical and reporting needs for the business team
Quantitative and qualitative analysis
Develop a sustainable process & automation for Operational reporting
Interact closely with Business partners to provide data consultation & support for Default
Work closely with Portfolio management team to drive build out of operational data store
Identify opportunities and implement solutionstoincrease team efficiency

Basic Qualifications:

At least a 4 Year college degree in a quantitative major
At least 3 Years of Data Analyst experience
At least 2 Years of experience with SQL/UNIX/SAS

Preferred Qualifications:

Masters Degree in an analytical filed such as Engineering, Math, Physics, Accounting, Finance or Information Technology
Mortgage Business knowledge a plus
Teradata Certification, SAS Certification, UNIX Certification
5 Years experience in Data analysis
5 Years experience in Programming
